A kiosk is a hardware product. An AI kiosk is a clinical decision-support surface that happens to live in front of the patient. MOVO-X AI kiosks ship with computer vision, NLP, and biometric liveness detection from day one.
Most "AI kiosks" advertised in the market are touchscreen kiosks with an AI sticker. The AI is either non-existent or runs in a remote cloud with patient data leaving the device. Neither survives a clinical-operations review.
ID document capture and face match runs on the kiosk hardware itself. Biometric liveness check, spoof detection, and quality validation — no patient image leaves the device unless the clinic explicitly opts in.
Patient describes their visit reason in their own words, in their own language. The kiosk captures structured ICD-10 / SNOMED-CT clinical coding plus the original quote for the clinician.
AI-tuned priority logic routes walk-ins, appointments, urgent cases, and elderly/disabled patients to the right doctor in the right order. Configurable per-clinic.
Per-patient wait estimation factoring current load, doctor availability, and historical patterns. Communicated to the patient on WhatsApp so they can leave the waiting room.
AI-generated voice prompts in 12+ languages — natural-sounding, locally-tuned. Patients choose language at the welcome screen.
Per-kiosk anomaly detection on patient flow, hardware health, and identity-verification confidence. Alerts the clinic ops team before a patient hits a problem.
90-second average kiosk-to-queue ticket
Identity-verification false-reject rate below 0.5%
Liveness check passes on every patient including elderly and visually impaired
Multi-language support that handles 12+ languages without quality degradation
The MOVO-X AI kiosk hardware is built on an Android 11 Kotlin application running on the RK3566 SoC with on-device CV and NLP inference. ID-document scanning, MyKad / passport / national-ID parsing, and face-match all execute locally. The kiosk operates fully offline — when connectivity returns, signed-and-encrypted state syncs to the clinic server. For sovereign deployments, the entire AI stack runs without ever touching external servers.
By default, no. ID match and liveness detection run on the kiosk itself. The clinic can explicitly opt in to retain biometric reference images for repeat-patient recognition, but that is off by default.
Twelve+ today: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Tamil, Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic, Spanish, German, Japanese, French, Portuguese. Adding a new language takes 2-3 weeks per market.
For standardised ID documents (MyKad, biometric passports, national ID cards from supported countries), parse accuracy exceeds 99%. Edge cases (handwritten ID, very-old documents) fall back to staff-assist intake.
Every AI decision is logged with confidence score. Below configurable thresholds, the kiosk falls back to staff-assist intake. The clinical record always captures both the AI signal and any human override.
Yes. AI features run entirely on-device. The kiosk continues to register patients without internet; when connectivity returns, encrypted state syncs to the clinic server.
