Three options: (A) Embedded widget: paste a 3-line HTML snippet into your website — the booking form appears inline. (B) Hosted page: link patients to a MOVO-X-hosted booking page at booking.yourhospital.com. (C) Custom-built portal: full custom development using MOVO-X APIs.
Start with a subset of appointment types: GP appointments, nurse consultations, and routine specialist follow-ups. Do not allow online booking for emergency presentations, first-time specialist referrals (which need triage), or procedures requiring pre-assessment. Add more types as confidence grows.
In MOVO-X Admin → Appointments → Online Booking: select which doctors and departments allow online booking, set maximum online advance booking (recommend 30 days for GP, 60 days for specialists), and set the same-day booking cutoff time (recommend 2 hours before the slot).

When a patient with an online booking checks in at the kiosk, their appointment should auto-populate their queue entry — no manual search. This requires the online booking system and the queue system to share a patient identifier (IC number is the most reliable link).

Enable a waiting list for fully-booked slots — patients can register their interest and receive an automatic notification if a cancellation opens up.
Review booking abandonment analytics monthly — where in the 5-step flow do patients drop off? High abandonment at "patient details" usually means the form is asking for too much information.
