What Calendly customers are frustrated about
Calendly is for business meetings, not patient appointments
Calendly was designed for booking sales calls, demos, and business meetings. It has no clinical workflow, no patient record, no consultation type, no triage priority, no medical record number, and no healthcare compliance. It is the wrong tool for a clinic.
No in-clinic operations support
When the patient arrives, Calendly's role is over. There is no queue, no kiosk, no waiting room display, no voice announcement. MOVO-X manages the patient from booking through check-in, consultation, pharmacy, payment, and discharge.
No ASEAN payment integration
Calendly does not process DuitNow, FPX, GrabPay, or PromptPay. It cannot collect consultation fees, copays, or deposits using the payment methods patients in ASEAN expect.
Not PDPA-compliant for patient data
Calendly's terms of service and data processing are not designed for regulated patient health data. A PDPA 2010 (Malaysia) or PDPA 2012 (Singapore) compliant appointment system requires specific data residency, access controls, and audit logs that Calendly does not provide.
