Product

What is MOVO-X?

MOVO-X is an all-in-one clinic management platform that combines a physical self-service kiosk with cloud software. It handles patient registration, queue management, billing, medical records, analytics, and patient communication for clinics and hospitals.

What is included in the MOVO-X system?

The complete system includes: a self-service check-in kiosk (hardware), queue management software, queue display screens, doctor and reception dashboards, patient SMS/WhatsApp notifications, billing and e-invoicing, analytics, and a patient portal.

Is MOVO-X a hardware product or a software product?

Both. MOVO-X provides an integrated hardware-software solution. The physical kiosk handles patient-facing interactions, while the cloud platform provides dashboards, analytics, and management tools for staff. You can also use the software on your own hardware (BYOD option).

What types of clinics is MOVO-X designed for?

MOVO-X works for general practice (GP) clinics, specialist clinics, polyclinics, dental practices, eye care centers, hospitals, aesthetic clinics, physiotherapy centers, and government health facilities. If patients walk through your door, MOVO-X can help.

Can MOVO-X work for hospitals with multiple departments?

Yes. MOVO-X supports multi-department queue coordination, where patients flow seamlessly from registration to consultation to lab to pharmacy to billing. Each department has its own queue managed by a unified system.

Does MOVO-X replace my existing clinic software?

MOVO-X can work alongside your existing HIS/EMR via API integration, or it can serve as your primary clinic management system. Many clinics use MOVO-X as a complete replacement for legacy software.

Pricing

How much does MOVO-X cost?

Software plans start from RM 299/month for single clinics. Hardware (kiosk) can be purchased from RM 5,900 or leased from RM 399/month all-inclusive. Enterprise plans for multi-branch operations are custom-quoted.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Our pricing is transparent. The monthly subscription includes software, updates, and standard support. Hardware costs, installation, and payment processing fees are quoted separately and clearly upfront.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Software subscriptions are month-to-month. You can cancel anytime with 30 days notice. Hardware leases are typically 12 or 24 months for the best rates, but we offer flexible terms.

Do you offer a free trial?

We offer a free live demo where you can test the full system. For qualified clinics, we offer a 30-day pilot program where we deploy the kiosk in your clinic and you can evaluate the results before committing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer, credit card, and FPX for Malaysian clients. For Thai and Singapore clients, we accept local bank transfer and credit card. Enterprise clients can arrange purchase orders.

Technical

What languages does MOVO-X support?

MOVO-X supports English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, and Arabic. Both the staff interface and patient-facing kiosk include full text translation and voice guidance in all supported languages.

Can MOVO-X integrate with my existing HIS/EMR?

Yes. MOVO-X provides a REST API and supports FHIR standards for healthcare interoperability. We have pre-built integrations for common systems in Malaysia and Thailand, and can build custom integrations for your specific software.

Does the kiosk work offline?

Yes. The kiosk caches patient data locally with encryption and continues to function during internet outages. Core operations like check-in and queue issuance work offline. Data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.

What are the internet requirements?

A stable broadband connection (minimum 5 Mbps) is recommended for optimal performance. The kiosk supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and optional 4G LTE for failover. Video consultations require 10+ Mbps.

Can I use MOVO-X on my own tablet or kiosk hardware?

Yes. The BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) option lets you install MOVO-X software on your existing tablets (Android/iPadOS) or kiosk hardware. Software-only plans start from RM 199/month.

Deployment

How long does deployment take?

A typical single-clinic deployment takes 1-2 weeks from signing to go-live. This includes hardware delivery, installation, software configuration, data migration (if needed), and staff training. Multi-branch rollouts are phased over 4-8 weeks.

Do you handle installation?

Yes. Our deployment team handles complete on-site installation: kiosk setup, network configuration, queue display mounting, printer setup, and system testing. Included in the deployment fee.

Is training provided?

Yes. Every deployment includes hands-on training for your staff: reception, doctors, and clinic managers. Training typically takes 2-3 hours and is conducted on-site. Additional training sessions can be scheduled as needed.

Can you migrate data from my current system?

Yes. We can migrate patient records, appointment history, and billing data from your existing system. Our team handles the data mapping, validation, and migration. Typical migration takes 3-5 business days.

Support

What support is included?

All plans include support via WhatsApp, email, and phone during business hours (9 AM - 6 PM, Mon-Sat). Enterprise plans include extended hours support, a dedicated account manager, and on-site support visits.

What is the warranty on the kiosk hardware?

All MOVO-X kiosks come with a 12-month warranty covering hardware defects and component failures. Extended warranties (24 or 36 months) are available. Leased kiosks include warranty for the entire lease period.

How often is the software updated?

MOVO-X releases software updates every 2-4 weeks. Updates are deployed automatically over-the-air (OTA) during off-hours. Major feature releases are announced in advance with release notes.

What happens if the kiosk breaks?

Contact our support team and we will diagnose remotely. If on-site repair is needed, our technician will visit within 24-48 hours (Klang Valley) or 48-72 hours (other areas). Loaner units are available for enterprise clients.
