Large Text & High Contrast Mode
MOVO-X kiosk and queue display support large text mode (minimum 18pt body text) and a high contrast theme (pure black background with white text and yellow highlights) that meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios at all text sizes. Patients can activate large text mode at the kiosk before beginning registration — no staff assistance required. The selection persists for their current session only; subsequent patients start at default settings.
Wheelchair-Accessible Kiosk Mounting
MOVO-X kiosk hardware is available in floor-standing configurations with a low-touch-screen option (centre of screen at 1,000mm height per ISO 9241-171) for wheelchair users. All kiosk models include a lowered secondary touchpoint option. For existing high-mounted kiosks, MOVO-X provides a secondary accessibility mode: a QR code at lower height that opens the full kiosk workflow on the patient's phone.
Priority Queue Flagging
Patients with registered disabilities, elderly patients (configurable age threshold), and pregnant patients can be flagged at check-in — by themselves or by staff — to receive priority queue status. Priority patients are called ahead of the general queue within their service type, with no disruption to the overall queue flow. Staff can also flag a patient for priority mid-queue.
Staff-Assisted Registration
For patients who cannot use the kiosk independently, MOVO-X provides a staff-assisted mode accessible via any tablet or computer. Staff can register the patient and join the queue on their behalf in under 60 seconds. The patient still receives their WhatsApp/SMS updates and can track their queue position from their phone.
Multilingual Interface
The kiosk interface is available in 14 languages. Patients select their language on the first screen. All subsequent text, button labels, confirmation messages, error messages, and instructions appear in the selected language. This removes the language barrier that prevents many elderly or foreign-language patients from using self-service systems.
