Digital Waiting Room Check-In
Patients check in to the virtual waiting room via a link in their appointment confirmation email or WhatsApp message. The check-in flow confirms their identity, reason for consultation, and any pre-consultation information (current medications, vitals if available). They receive their queue position and estimated wait time on a live web page that does not require staying in the tab — the page will play a notification sound and send a WhatsApp/SMS when their turn is near.
Doctor Readiness Signalling
Doctors see their patient queue on a dashboard tab or their clinical system. When they complete one consultation and are ready for the next, they click "Call Next Patient." MOVO-X simultaneously sends the patient their video consultation link via WhatsApp and displays it on their waiting room page. The link is single-use, time-limited (expires after 15 minutes if not accessed), and generates a new link if the patient accidentally closes it.
Video Platform Integration
MOVO-X generates consultation links for any video platform: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp Video Call, Whereby, Daily.co, or custom WebRTC implementations. The platform choice is made per clinic and can vary by doctor preference.
