A self-registration kiosk collapses the slowest step in outpatient care — new-patient registration — from a 5–10 minute counter conversation into a sub-minute self-service flow. The patient scans their national ID (MyKad, NRIC, Thai ID) or passport; the kiosk reads the chip or MRZ, creates the record, and issues a queue ticket.
MOVO-X self-registration kiosks do this in production every day: ID-chip reading, returning-patient recognition, visit-type routing, consent capture, and a printed or phone-based queue ticket — wired into full clinic software so the registration is a real medical record, not a form to re-type later.
In Australia, MOVO-X deployments are localised end-to-end: English language support alongside English, billing in AUD (A$), Privacy Act 1988 (Australia, including Australian Privacy Principles)-aware data handling, and delivery to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and nationwide.
Registration is the one step every patient must pass, staffed by the busiest people in the clinic. Manual registration means typing names from ICs, mishearing phone numbers, and re-asking allergies — while the queue behind grows. Kiosk registration removes typing entirely: the ID document is the data source, and the patient self-serves the rest.
